BOSTON, Sept. 7, 2015–State Police detectives assigned to Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office are investigating an apparent fatal stabbing on Constitution Beach this morning.

The Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit — along with uniformed troopers from the Revere barracks, the Crime Scene Services Section, Marine Unit, and other State Police assets — responded to an area of the beach near the East Boston Yacht Club after a passerby observed the body of an adult male near the waterline.

The deceased has not yet been identified.  He had injuries consistent with stab wounds, but the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of his death.
