Community Events

The Suffolk District Attorney’s office hosts, supports, and attends community events throughout the year in order to provide an important presence to the community, making community members aware that we are here to listen and to help work with them to unite the community against violence.

If you are interested in having the district attorney’s office participate in a public safety-related event in Boston, Chelsea, Revere or Winthrop, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. If you have trouble filling out the form or do not receive a response from our office within a few days, please contact our Community Relations department by email at SuffolkCommRelations@Massmail.state.ma.us or by phone at 617-619-4000.

The DA and office staff are regulars at Suffolk County community events, including: the Mother’s Day Walk for Peace, the Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast & Day of Service, the annual CommUNITY Chelsea Breakfast for domestic violence awareness, The Network La Red Gala, the annual Garden of Peace ceremony, the Boston TenPoint Coalition’s “Season of Peace”, HarborCov’s domestic violence awareness event “Taste of Chelsea,” Project RIGHT’s Annual Dinner, National Night Out, White Ribbon Day, Revere Consumer Shred Day, ETHOS Senior Palooza, Boston Shines Neighborhood Clean-up, LIPSTICK (Ladies Involved In Putting a Stop To Inner-City Killing) safety workshops, Youth Standing Strong Against Violence, and many community crime watch meetings and public safety meetings.
