Man Faces Four Counts of Murder After Second Arrest in Woolson Street Slayings

Boston Police and Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office tonight released the following statement on the arrest of DWAYNE MOORE, 33, for the Sept. 28 shooting deaths of a toddler and three adults on Woolson Street:

The homicide investigation into the murders of Levaughn Washum-Garrison, Simba Martin, Eyanna Flonory and her two year old son Amanihotep Smith on September 28, 2010 has led the Boston Police Homicide Unit and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office to develop the evidence necessary to arrest 33 year-old Dwayne Moore of Mattapan for this atrocious crime.

Moore has been charged with four counts of murder and one count of assault with intent to murder, along with other related charges. This investigation is currently being heard by a Suffolk County Grand Jury. Due to the fact that the investigation is still ongoing and is still before the Grand Jury, neither the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office nor the Boston Police Department will be able to comment or answer any questions at this time.

Moore is currently in Boston Police custody and will be arraigned tomorrow morning in Dorchester District Court.
