No Bail for Man Accused in Double Murder

BOSTON, May 17, 2013—A Quincy man was held without bail today on charges he shot and killed two other men in November, District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said.

KEON MONTEIRO (D.O.B. 3/19/89) was arraigned today on two counts of murder in the Nov. 28 shooting deaths of 21-year-old Victor Otoadese and 25-year-old Sean Repetto, both of Quincy.  At the request of Assistant District Attorney Patrick Devlin, Judge Michele Hogan ordered Monteiro held without bail.

According to prosecutors, Otoadese and Repetto were shot on Batchelder Street in broad daylight on the afternoon of Nov. 28.  The victims were seen with Monteiro shortly before they were fatally shot, and witnesses identified Monteiro leaving the area with a gun in his hand after hearing shots fired, prosecutors said.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals, where Otoadese died shortly thereafter.  Repetto succumbed to his injuries days later.

Michael Schultz is the DA’s assigned victim-witness advocate.  Monteiro is represented by John Tardiff.  He will return to court on June 20.
