Revere, State Police Seek 2nd Suspect in Waite Street Homicides

BOSTON, Dec. 29, 2015—A second man is being sought in connection with the homicides of 66-year-old Peter Pitari and 35-year-old Cristy Johnson in a Revere apartment building earlier this month, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley and Revere Police Chief Joseph Cafarelli said today.

VICHETH SO (D.O.B. 10/25/79) of Everett is wanted on a warrant charging him with two counts of murder and one count of armed assault with intent to murder in connection with the Dec. 10 shooting that claimed the lives of Pitari and Johnson, both of Revere, and seriously injured a 38-year-old man.

Revere Police responded to 70 Waite St. shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 and located the three victims suffering life-threatening gunshot wounds.  Pitari and Johnson succumbed to their injuries.

Revere Police and State Police detectives assigned to Conley’s office arrested MICHAEL DeLEON (D.O.B. 4/23/79) of Lynn on Dec. 11; he remains held without bail.  The State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section is currently seeking So, who was identified in the days that followed.
