Roslindale Man Facing Gun, Drug Charges – While on Bail For Gun, Drug Charges

A Roslindale man was arraigned on gun and drug charges for the second time in four months yesterday after Boston Police recovered a loaded handgun and about 80 grams of heroin in his apartment while he was free on bail in an earlier case, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said.

WILLIAM FLEURIMONT (D.O.B. 9/16/90) was arraigned yesterday in West Roxbury District Court on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a large-capacity feeding device, trafficking in a Class A substance, and possession of Class B and Class D substances with intent to distribute.

Assistant District Attorney Gabriel Pell recommended that Fleurimont be held on $200,000 cash bail and that his open bail on an earlier West Roxbury case be revoked. Judge Pamela Dashiell revoked Fleurimont’s open bail and set his new bail at $35,000.

Fleurimont’s previous case stemmed from his July 6 arrest for keeping a loaded Ruger P85 semiautomatic handgun with a high-capacity magazine in his Colberg Avenue residence along with two large bags of marijuana. Prosecutors had recommended $50,000 cash bail at his arraignment in that case; Judge Mary Ann Driscoll set bail at $10,000.

In the most recent case, Boston Police executed a search warrant on Fleurimont’s apartment Friday morning and recovered another 9mm semiautomatic handgun loaded with nine rounds of ammunition, a second high-capacity magazine for that handgun loaded with ten rounds of ammunition, about 80 grams of heroin in more than 50 plastic bags, quantities of marijuana and crack cocaine, and just over $3,000 in cash.

Fleurimont was represented by attorney Joshua Hanye and will return to court on Nov. 28.
