Boston, Nov. 5, 2012 — A second man has been arraigned today in the murder of 23-year-old Alfonso Rivas, District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said.

Dorchester District Court Judge Robert Baylor ordered REGINALD HOLLEY (D.O.B. 11/22/89) of Dorchester held without bail at his arraignment on charges of murder, armed robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Holley and a second man, OASIS PRITCHETT (D.O.B. 10/5/90) of Roxbury, are accused in the Oct. 17 shooting death of Rivas during an attempt to rob him of marijuana, Assistant District Attorney Ursula Knight said.

Pritchett has been held without bail since his Nov. 1 arraignment.

Knight told the court that Holley and Pritchett planned to rob Rivas during a transaction at 14 Lyndhurst St. Cell phone records show that Rivas received a phone call just before his death, and surveillance images capture Holley speaking on a cell phone as he and Pritchett enter the building, prosecutors said.

Surveillance images and Charlie Card records reveal that the men fled the Lyndhurst Street address, proceeded to an MBTA station, and boarded a bus that took them past the murder scene, according to prosecutors.

Holley was represented by Aviva Jeruchim. He is due back in court Nov. 27.
