Suspect in Spencer Avenue Homicide Under Arrest

Oct. 22, 2014—Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley and Chelsea Police Chief Brian Kyes announced an arrest in the shooting death of 36-year-old Juan Carlos Rodriguez this weekend.

ANTONIO RIVERA (D.O.B. 10/2/91) surrendered himself this afternoon on a warrant charging him with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm. He is accused of shooting Rodriguez during an altercation inside the French Naturalization Club on Spencer Avenue at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday.  Rodriguez died of his injuries at Massachusetts General Hospital.
